Post Acute Specialists joined our team at Healthcare last year. Together we bring needed intervention for our patients through their specialists: Cariology, Nephrology, Neurology, Wound Care, Psychiatry, Pulmonary and many more. Since his integration, our quality metrics have improved. Specifically, we have reduced our return to acute transfers with specialty assessments that quickly identify critical changes and needed interventions outside the scope of the SNF attending physician. This prevents hospitalization and unnecessary costs by the patient, insurance, facility while reducing communicable disease. Additionally, our length of stay has improved by eliminating delays.
