Belterra Health & Rehabilitation facility has enjoyed partnering up with Post Acute Specialists to deliver exceptional case to our residents this year. While Post Acute Specialists offer multiple specialty disciplines, we have utilized both Neurology and Orthopedics. We are adding Podiatry this month. We look forward to adding Gastroenterology once that specialty is available. Since Covid, Telemedicine is now recognized as a vital way to offer service to those who are challenged physically on getting to an office. Post Acute Specialists hybrid approach, using both telemedicine and in person visits, helps long-term residents get the specialized care they need to help manage their comorbidities they have helped Belterra reduce our RTA rate, as well as decrease our transportation costs by providing care at the bedside.
